Had you ever had sweaty hands after your first date or found your heart rate going so high because you saw a scary movie? Well, that means that you have experienced stress in your mind and in your body. Which is not good as there is a direct link between stress and your health.
It is important to understand what to do when we are under a lot of stress. Long periods of pressure on your mind and body cause anxiety. This anxiety creates pressure in your body 😔. Your body becomes tight, and this tight pressure turns into disease.
Everyone experiences Stress
Everybody experiences some kind of stress. I remember before having kids that I experienced some moments of stress. I remember that, but I also noticed that after having children and also having a career, I was with stress nonstop every day. This was stress and motherhood. There was not a day without stress for multiple reasons. And because of that, I developed chronic stress. And after that, I developed anxiety. However, I didn’t know any of this. I didn’t know I was experiencing anxiety. I thought it was normal.
I thought it was normal for me because I suppose everybody did the same. And I thought that I could do and manage my career and my family at the same time.
When you have long periods of stress in your body, that will cause anxiety. In turn, the negative effects of long-term stress and your health will become manifest.
How does it feel to have anxiety? Anxiety feels like you are worrying all the time that you have pressure in your body. I remember that my head was kind of tight. I felt like I wanted to explode. I felt inside like a pressure cooker.
How does it affect you?
I felt tired all day. I got upset very easily. And of course, felt the tension in my body. So imagine that when you have stress, it is like a dark energy or a dark vibration flowing through your body all of the time. When that happens, of course, it’s going to cause a lot of health issues.
Imagine that dark energy is flowing all the time. You don’t have a good vibration. That’s going to cause all kinds of issues. I will describe the effect of stress on my health. For me was like having this pain in my chest and constant headaches. I could not breathe properly. I felt tired and I started getting sick easily. Like I was sick every week. It was just amazing how my health started to change.
Can you relate to these issues caused by the dark energy of stress and your health?
What can you do?
So, what can you do? Well, basically what I did! The first thing is to recognize that you probably had some type of anxiety because you are not feeling normal. This is not normal. You probably have some type of anxiety. That’s the first thing to do. Just recognize that.
Then the second thing is to evaluate your life. What are the things that you can change?
Probably, you can take a part-time job or probably you need to hire people to help you at home. What are the things that are going to help you to have a balanced life and to have more time for yourself?
You have to evaluate everything and really not worry too much probably about what others are going to say. Just worry about you. What are the things that you need to do to take care of yourself? And this is very difficult to do. It’s not easy because we are very attached to our lives and to our daily routines.
This is something that we have to think about.
The third thing that I did and I still do is to have a morning ceremony. A morning ceremony is in the morning before you go to work and it’s basically that you wake up early and you do some type of prayer or some type of meditation.
How I can help
I also write down the 10 things I am grateful for. What this does is just elevate your vibration, to feel positive. And when you are with this vibration in the morning, you can carry that on through the day. It’s just an amazing feeling.
The fourth thing that I do is at noon, I have 10 minutes of break. I go outside. Like I am right now and just breathe for 10 minutes, close my eyes and just be quiet, no cell phone, nothing. I just listen to the birds, to the wind, just listen to nature. These 10 minutes could even be five minutes. It’s going to give you so much balance in your life. It is an amazing thing.
So this is what I recommend. And you know, if it is hard for you to break in at noon, do it in the afternoon, it’s all about taking care of yourself.
